The FiltraSurimi® Solution focuses on all steps in the Surimi process. One of the steps with the largest losses of myofibrilar protein is in the washing process. By careful control of water volume, wash times, and handling of mince it is possible to reduce the losses dramatically, get a cleaner mince though reducing the number of washes, reduce water usage, reduce power usage, and reduce pollution of water leaving the process,
Working then on changing the refining process again produces a higher quality of mince with less impurities, and finally the dewatering process where traditionel surimi making leaves too much to be used in secondary grades becaue protein is saved too late.
